Planting
Aquilaria agallocha Roxb. seedlings are planted on our farm in Ha Tinh. Every tree is given a serial number, and its production history is recorded from the day it is planted.

- 02
20+ years of organic cultivation
The trees grow for more than 20 years on a certified organic farm, without chemical fertilizers or pesticides. Good agarwood must come from trees that have grown for at least 15 years before resin forms.

- 03
Resin induction
Once a tree is mature, it is wounded and a natural, fungus-based resin inducer is introduced. The tree releases resin to protect the wound.

- 04
5+ years of maturation
We then wait at least another 5 years for the resin to settle deep within the wood. Each tree carries a tag marking the date resinification began.

- 05
Harvest
Trees older than 25 years are felled. A cross-section shows how the resin has formed inside the wood.

- 06
Extraction and sorting
At our factory in Dong Nai, the wood is trimmed back to the resinous part with knives, and the agarwood is chiseled out piece by piece and sorted by grade.

- 07
Steam distillation
Agarwood oil and agarwood hydrosol are obtained by traditional steam distillation. Only steam is used to draw out the compounds, with no solvents such as alcohol.

- 08
Testing and manufacturing
After the resin is tested, it is made into products at our HACCP-certified factory. The same standards apply from raw material to finished product.

Three things we hold to
Serial numbers
Every agarwood tree is numbered, and the dates of planting, resin induction and harvest are recorded. These records are monitored and shared with customers.
At least 25 years
Trees are grown for more than 20 years, then given at least 5 more years for resin to form. We harvest agarwood only from trees 25 years or older.
Steam distillation
Our own factory in Dong Nai produces oil by traditional steam distillation. We do not buy in raw material; we use only trees we have grown ourselves.
